They Say never meet you hero..... but, I beg to differ.
Growing up I never meet them or even had a chance to....but if I did, I think it would have had a profound effect on me.
Tonight is the chance for the youth of Louth to meet their GAA hero's.
How inspiring would it be for a young boy or girl to actually meet, rub shoulders with our finest athletes and role Models.
By
giving them this opportunity to greet and possibly converse with their
Louth hero's, could make a Massive impact on their lives and sporting
careers forever.
Also, in a subtle way, it reminds the lads why they do all the hard work and reminding them of themselves at that age, dreaming of winning leinsters and All-Irelands.
Put it this way, you pay a fortune to bring them to a WWE event in the O2 or worse, a Justin Beiber concert......these guys are hero's and they are our local hero's
Don't take them, or your kids dreams for granted
7pm in Darver tonight is the chance to change lives forever.
