IFC Quarters

Quarter Final time in the Intermediate Championship.....they've been waiting the longest and having seen Junior teams reach finals and Senior teams go through their quarter finals they are ready for their turn.

Friday Haggardstown
Naps Vs Roche 6:45 PM

Recently Crowned Division 3 champs Roche could spring a surprise here against this years surprise packets Na Piarsaigh!?
Na Piarsaigh possess the quality up front with Mark Larkin helped by the McAuley brothers that got them this far.
The fact that this could be Roche's last game of the year could make the difference as they will have nothing to lose and really go for it.
Verdict: Roche

SOM Vs Joes 8PM

Another really tight game to call....
Division 1 high flyers (and L&P favourites) Sean O'Mahony's have shown they are a serious outfit and well balanced all round in attack and defence but if there is one team is to scuttle them en route through the minefield that is the intermediate championship, it is the Joes.

Verdict: SOM

Saturday
The Grove
Brides Vs Fechins 5:15pm

Battle of the Saints,
The Knockbridge have been solid this year...their younger players have settled in well around some of their most experienced players and formed a formidable outfit and possibly the best outside bet to win the thing.
The Fechins are the opposite of Solid....i don't even think they have a manager!? bags of talent yes but no leader and direction will make it hard for them to advance.
Verdict: Brides

DYI Vs Gers 6:30 PM

These guys bring some baggage from underage...and will both be keen to get the one over each other at adult level.
It will, no doubt, be a shoot out between two of Louths great attacking talents, Jim Mc for the Ger bears and Derek Maguire for DYI but the game will hinge on who has the best supporting cast, and for me it has to be Gers
Verdict: Geraldines
