Cardinal O'Donnell Cup

The Pats have had a hell of a season, like an episode of Love/Hate, they will not want it to end.

They added the Cardinal O'Donnell to their Joe Ward Triumph yesterday.

and most importantly Louth and Proud's prestigious unofficial team of 2012 title,

was there ever any real doubt....?

Virtuoso

Paddy Keenan was simply sensational.

You don't realise how good he is at the time because he makes it look so easy. That every midfielder should be kicking points for fun! left foot, right foot, free kicks too.

It is not until you go home and actually digest what he did. Then you begin to appreciate what you saw and how special a player he is.

The Pats and Louth are Lucky to have him.

O'Connell's

If ever a team looked jaded and fatigued with something, it was the O'Connell's in the 2nd half yesterday.

It's been a tough few weeks on them Mentally and physically. They finally ran out of steam.

They can now look back with the season with pride, Leinster, Sheelan and league finalists and most importantly for them, Intermediate Champions 2012.

McKeever's Believers will now take a well earned break, recharge the batteries and look to 2013 with great optimism.

Fitzsimons Shield

Aidan O'Rourke goes another game as Louth Boss without a win.

Louth went down to Cavan 2-12 to 14

Scorers Shane Lennon 0-4, David Reid 0-2, Kevin Rogers, Brian Donnelly 0-2 and Darren Clarke 0-1

But again, according to reports we played with a more experimental side than our opponents.

Rookie Report Tuesday.
