Raspberry Swirl

Okay, we know the blueprint (literally) on how to beat Kildare having watched the dubs do it

So How can we play like Dublin?

here's a couple of ways the reds can raspberry swirl the lilywhites on saturday night

Attack-Attack-Attack
Call them Naive, call it tactical suicide but Kildare went one on one with Dublin at the back and got exposed.
If they didn't do that against Dublin then they aint doing it against us.

Sure, we don't have the firepower of Brogan, Kilkenny and Mannion but we can force overlaps and take advantage of a one on one situation especially after the Antrim tatics.

Ray Finnegan, Adrian Reid, John Bingham, Paddy Keenan, Derek Crilly and Ronan Carroll are very attack minded players for non attackers. They are well able to play the running game and can force this pressure on Kildare just like McCaffrey, McCarthy and MD mcAuley did for Dublin.

Lets play with the freedom of Dublin and just go for it and attack in numbers. We stopped doing it against Wexford and paid the price, Derek Crilly was rampaging before his outlook was adjusted either by management or a defensive mindset.

To beat Kildare we need to attack and when we do, it needs to be in numbers.

Quick Kick outs

Our Number 1 Goalkeeper Gally is out through suspension, but no reason why Joe Flanagan can't step up into the plate and do a job.

He's played in an Leinster under 21 final last season, made one of the best saves i've seen and has been his club, O'Raghallaighs first choice keeper for years.

We know he has a booming left footed kickout and the Accurracy also

but, can he clip them short, quick start moves on the fly and does he have the confidence to do so.

I think he can...and it's vital he does.

thats all for now! Should have more tomorrow too
