Lets get one thing straight, I am not going to run down any player who were lucky enough to get selected on the team.
My Gripe is with the process of Selection.
The voting system in place allows for a skewed team, seen in the evenly balanced side, spread across 10 teams!
Pats end up with 5 and rightly so, Dreadnots come Second with 2 players but the Fechin's and O'Raghaillaigh's must feel aggrieved to only have one each! Therefore we are left with a biased All-Star team, not a fair reflection on the 2011 championship season.
Proof of voting system's failings, is that one third of the All Star team is from players who were their clubs only representative! Making it easy for their supporter's to mass vote that solitary player nominated into the side whether they deserved it or not.
I know its only a bit if fun and not to be taken too seriously. These things are all about the debate because there are no right answers!! If anything this particular All-Star team shows the loyalty of their Supporters and their profound texting ability!
