4 W's Preview

WHO: Down
WHAT: McGeough Cup
WHERE: Haggardstown
WHEN: January 21st 7pm

Two things to expect from this game 1. A louth win and 2. Some new faces in new places.

Down are playing in the McKenna Cup semi the following day in Armagh at 2, so it will be interesting to see how they approach the game and who lines out for them?  Expect a mid level Strength team to start with mass withdrawals come full time.

On these grounds, Louth Should win the Game but again I'd like to highlight the importance of experimentation!!

We were Badly lacking a target man last weekend, So throw Brian Donnelly up there and try out the lads that weren't used against Meath. Step up Stephen Moonan, David McComish and Jackie Agnew, who are all (Gulp) half backs!! None the less still need to be tried and tested before the League.

The Mourne men have started brightly this year and always bring their attacking flair to the occassion, which makes them entertaining to watch. Should be a nice test and lively first half with high score tallies on the board.

Things to look out for: David Collier again, Jamie O'Reilly (the latest AFL recruit to return home), How Down can utilise their so called little men, The quality venue haggardstown is (excellent lights and Pitch quality), Wee james in his customary NZ all blacks cap and a pair of mikasa gloves!
