Declan Byrne Sending off
Did this really have the effect people are saying and abuse Declan Byrne is being subjected to, his temperament is now being questioned after a tussle and a couple of harsh yellow cards. Paddy Keenan got sent off against Tyrone when the game was still in the balance and there was no uproar when we went on to lose.
People need to catch a grip and stop looking for scapegoats.
Instead of looking at the sending off I would look at the reaction of the players tells us a lot more.
We conceded ten scores in a row!!!
There is no excuse for this, where was the lift in effort when we went down a man, that is more telling.

Does this Team have a soft Centre?
Let’s be honest our campaign so far has been better than expected. You cannot fault the players for effort but a lot of things have gone for us?
As soon things go against us like for example we lose a player like the last two Sunday’s our attitude is not good.
Does this team rely too much on Paddy Keenan.
We all know how important he is to Louth.
That being said on Sunday going into battle without him was always going to be difficult, When he is not there you not only lose his footballing ability as player but his presence to our own and opposing players around him.
Brian Donnelly missed him in the middle and our defensive was exposed without his cover and going forward he is always good for a point.

But There is a huge belief vacuum when he is not there on the pitch and amongst supporters.
There is no way we lose that game the fashion we did if he was on the pitch
