U21
Well done to the U21's who beat longford last night playing majority of the game with 14 men!
They will face a trickier Offaly side Wednesday the 21st March in Navan
The teams they facing are getting incrementally tougher as they progress.
and to beat offaly they will have to raise there game again
and I think We have the forwards and strength in depth aswell as Character to do so.
SENIOR
Last but not least
we're going to Sunny Clones on Sunday
Well a minority of our supporters will make it
(11am Sheelan Cup and Kevin Mullen shield throw in times will make it near impossible to make the Game as if missing sunday mass was bad enough! )
I can See Monagahan's thinking, bring us up to Fortress and get a result.
But when a shorter trip to a fine Inniskeen set up would have made more sense on and off the pitch for Monaghan GAA in general.
A beautiful wide open pitch, more attractive to away fans is a chance missed for them to pack the coffers.
ah well!
more on the two teams tomorrow
