Better L8 than never

Darren Clarke left the squad a few weeks back and Colm Judge’s ankle injury means he’ll be out and I mentioned yesterday the exodus of Stephen Campbell from the Louth squad has been a blow to morale in the camp but I didn’t mention the fact these withdrawals has forced  AOR’s hand a wee bit  to freshen the squad up.

This is exciting, New blood is always exciting.

So how has AOR freshened up the squad?

Newbie’s Ryan Burns and Eoghan Lafferty have been two of the fresh names involved in recent weeks and what makes those two names all the more impressive is, that they are still in School!

Burns was a part of the impressive Ardee Community School this year and Lafferty played Lennon cup for Bush.

More about Lafferty, He was a Louth minor last season, Corner back for the Under21’s this season and has also played Ice Hockey for Ireland.(I’m not making the last fact up, I swear)

Two great talents and two of the reasons for this Trivia time question.
‘Who was the last Player to play for Louth that was still in Secondary School?’
